Credit Europe Bank N.V. Amsterdam Bucharest Branch becomes Nexent Bank: A new era in banking services

28 April 2025

Credit Europe Bank announced today a change in its identity, transitioning to Nexent Bank. This change reflects the bank's commitment to providing modern, transparent, and customer-focused banking services to both corporate and retail customers.

The evolution from Credit Europe Bank to Nexent Bank is a strategic move to modernize and enhance the bank's services. The new identity underscores what the bank has always stood for: a specialized and responsive partner in (international) finance, dedicated to offering customer-oriented and innovative financial solutions. This change will not affect existing relationships or the expertise that customers have come to rely on.

The transition to Nexent Bank is a strategic necessity to better align with today's dynamic business landscape. The new identity reflects the bank's agility, digital ambition, and customer-first mindset, designed to support business growth with greater clarity and innovation. I take the opportunity to thank all our customers for their trust; we are looking forward to serving them under the new identity of Nexent Bank”, stated Senol Aloglu, CEO of Credit Europe Bank N.V.

Nexent Bank will build on the strength of Credit Europe Bank and its successful products, with a clearer name and modern tools to match. We are prepared for the future, and we’re as committed as ever to grow together with our customers, with fairness and transparency at the core of all our actions”, said Yakup Çil, Country Manager Romania.

The preparations for the rebranding are ongoing with the full transitioning expected around mid-2025. The bank will keep all its customers and partners informed throughout this process, which is designed to be seamless, without any impact on existing products and services.
