Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. completes merger process with parent bank Credit Europe Bank N.V.

The cross-border intragroup merger between Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. and its Dutch parent company Credit Europe Bank N.V. has been successfully completed. Effective January 1, 2025, Credit Europe Bank operates in Romania as a branch office of the Dutch bank, under the name Credit Europe Bank N.V. Amsterdam Bucharest Branch.

This step is an important milestone in realizing Credit Europe Bank's strategy to enhance its operations by benefiting from shared expertise and common resources within the Group. The transition underlines the bank's commitment to sustainable growth in Romania while enhancing its ability to deliver reliable, customer-focused products and user-friendly financial services.
